A downloadable game

This is the first game I ever finished making when I was only 14 years old. It was released on the GameMaker Sandbox back in 2006 and and it got a few thousand downloads.  Unfortunately, the gamemaker sandbox  shut down years ago and some people were asking me where they could find this game, so I thought I would release it here!

The old soundtrack was just a few repetitive 6 second loops, so I decided to replace all the music in this version.  The new soundtrack is  made up of songs that I made when I was learning music composition back in  2012. These songs were mainly created for practice, but I figured that this was a great opportunity to actually release them out into the wild.

This version has a few changes from the old version:

-All new music

-A new music room where you can listen to songs from the new and classic soundtrack

-Added options to mute the music and sound effects

-Slightly changed a few  levels and boss battles  for convenience reasons

Working with my old code that I wrote when I was a teenager was a fun, yet horrifying experience! There are probably a bunch of spelling mistakes in the dialogue, but I  won't be fixing them.

i love this game

Playing on Linux. So far so great!

The sounds and music don't seem to play, though. Any chance it could be looked into?

On Linux I have no idea, I didn't even think games made with this old version of Gamemaker could be run on Linux

This was one of my absolute favorite games as a kid, so to see it get this re-release (especially with the new music) is a really cool thing for me.

Is there any chance you'll make the songs available by themselves? I recognized a few of them from the old Veyeral Infection demo, so I don't know if you were planning on using them in that game and releasing the tracks with it. Either way, I love listening to them.

Sure, I'll probably just put them in a folder in the zip download here.

Edit: you can now download it again and all the music MP3s  will be in a folder!

I have improved a lot in making music, so I will be making new music for Eye Attack VI when I get back to it after I am done with The Void Rains Upon Her Heart. (I will likely make one more game before eye attack because I want to make sure I have a bigger audience for it)

Also if you are wondering, I do want to give the same little upgrade to Eye Attack 2, so I can release that here too. I'm not sure when I'll get to it though.
